Horus IoT is the device, gateway, data, and automation layer of the Horus platform within the Fidumtec ecosystem.

Fidumtec is the company that articulates Horus as a distributed orchestration platform for video, IoT, AI, automation, communities, and edge/cloud deployments. Horus IoT is the layer that connects that platform with the physical world: sensors, actuators, gateways, cameras, field protocols, and external sources.
With more than 25 years of experience in software, telecommunications, and remote monitoring, Fidumtec brings the technical track record needed to connect real infrastructure with digital operation, data history, and actionable decisions.
Role of Horus IoT
Horus IoT is not a separate platform: it is the device and automation layer inside Horus. Its mission is to turn real-world signals into reliable, comparable, and actionable information.
The IoT layer makes it possible to:
- Integrate sensors, actuators, cameras, and logical devices.
- Connect equipment through IP, gateways, SMS, LoRa, industrial buses, or external APIs.
- Normalize heterogeneous data inside a common operational history.
- Govern permissions, data availability, and actions by user or instance.
- Activate alerts, scenarios, automations, and predictive or forensic analysis.
What we offer
- Integration design: selection of devices, gateways, protocols, and communication paths according to each site.
- Unified operation: data, events, dashboards, permissions, and actions inside the same Horus instance.
- Field scalability: deployments that can grow by site, zone, sensor type, use case, or criticality.
- Operational history: records prepared for predictive analysis, forensic review, and continuous improvement.
Why choose Horus
Horus IoT is more than device connectivity: it builds operational history. From early warning systems to distributed technical site monitoring, Horus IoT turns scattered data into faster, better-grounded decisions coordinated with the rest of the platform.
